Gbackup supports creating custom plugins for backups. These plugins are useful where before and after a backup is done you need to run a command. For example, the command may interface with an application and create some files/folders which need to be backed up by Gbackup.

You can suspend and then later resume a backup schedule from the List of Backup Schedule page. If a backup schedule is resumed, it will run once immediately and then be scheduled.

Exchange Mailbox Level Backup requires "Full Mailbox Access" permission for the user account under which Gbackup service runs on the Exchange Server(2000/2003/2007/2010) machine. If you encounter any error while accessing "Add Exchange Mailbox Backup" page in the Gbackup webconsole, you may need to grant full mailbox access to that specific account.
