Downloading and Installing Gbackup

To download and install Gbackup for Computers or Gbackup for Servers, simply follow the instructions below or see the videos elsewhere in our Knowledgebase:

1. Open your web Browser and go to 'http://install.gbackup.co.za'.
2. In the Download section, click on the link to download the 'Backup Manager' software (For Servers) or 'Backup Lite' (For Computers), depending on your needs.
3. When a File Save dialog appears, click on the Save button.
4. Wait for the download to finish, then double-click on the downloaded file to install the Gbackup software.
5. Follow the on-screen installation steps and once installation has completed, Gbackup should launch automatically. If it doesn't, double-click on the Gbackup icon on your Desktop to start it manually.
