Overview
This page lists the backup schedules that are configured. The status of the backups shown in this page is as of the time when this page was last refreshed. This page refreshes by itself. You can set the time interval it automatically refreshes by clicking on the ‘configure refresh settings’ icon on the top right corner of the table. To force it to refresh, click on the ‘refresh’ icon at the top right hand corner of the table.
How to get here in the Gbackup Web Console?

List Of Backup Schedules
The backup schedule details are shown in the form of a table which has the following columns:
Backup Name - This is the unique name of the backup schedule.
Backup Status - This gives the current status of the backup schedule. The following are used to provide the status:
-
Backup In Progress - This means this backup schedule is currently in progress. Clicking on this icon will open the backup progress window.
-
Idle - This means the backup has been run at least once and is scheduled to run at a particular time and currently it is idle.
-
Not Yet Scheduled - This means the backup has not yet run even once and is scheduled to run at a particular time.
-
Suspended - This means the backup is in a suspended state. Suspended backups have to be resumed manually for the backup to be scheduled again.
-
Completed / Incomplete - In the case of Immediate Backup, the status will show either completed or incomplete. Completed status means the backup was attempted and it was successful. Incomplete status means the backup was aborted in the middle because of some problems. The backup report will have details about the problem.
-
Restore In Progress - This means that a restore operation on this backup is currently in progress.
-
Delete In Progress - This means that a delete operation on this backup is currently in progress.
Backup Server - This is the backup server to which the data is being backed up. If a backup has been deleted from a backup server, then the server name will be prepended by Deleted (eg: [Deleted: joeholmes]). If a backup has been deleted from a server, Gbackup will stop backing up to that server. You can enable backup to the server again from the "Edit Backup Schedule" page.
Last Backup Time - This field gives the next time this backup is scheduled to run. For Continuous and Immediate backup, this field will be blank.
Next Schedule Time - The time at which this backup was last scheduled.
Plugin Type - Indicates if the backup is a plugin backup.
Backup Created on - The time at which the backup was created.
Last Modified Time - The time at which the backup was last modified.
Backup Type - Indicates if the backup type is local or remote.
Actions - The icons under this column are links to various features to enable you to manage your backup schedules.
-
Abort Backup - The backup process can be aborted by clicking this icon. When aborted, the backup will then run during the next scheduled time. If the backup is scheduled to ‘Run Once’ and is aborted, the backup schedule will go to a suspended state. Note: If SQL/Exchange backups are scheduled to ‘Run Once’ and aborted, then the backups will run during the next scheduled time.
-
Suspend / Resume - Clicking on this icon will toggle between suspending and resuming a backup. Any resumed backup will be run immediately once and then scheduled.
-
Schedule Now - When a backup is in idle status in Gbackup client web console page "Backup -> List Backup Schedules" page, then you can click "Schedule Now" action in the action column of that page. This will schedule that backup immediately.
-
View - Clicking on this icon will open the view backup schedule page, which shows all the configurations done for this backup schedule.
-
Edit - Clicking on this icon will open the edit backup schedule page. You can edit the backup configurations from this page. Note that you cannot edit the files/folders configured from the edit backup schedule page.
-
Delete - Clicking on this icon will open the Delete Backup page. You can delete the complete backup data and the schedule itself from the Delete Backup page.
-
Reports - Clicking on this icon will open the Backup Report page. If the Backup is in progress, then the Backup Progress window will be opened.
'Select Columns' Icon - This will list the available columns and user can select the columns to be displayed in the table.
