Reduced Bandwidth Usage

Saving bandwidth is crucial to any business.

Due to the brilliant data compression algorithm the Gbackup application uses (resulting in a 50-90% file size reduction), as little bandwidth as possible is wasted. Additionally, after a user's initial compressed backup completes, only changes to files are backed up, resulting in even further bandwidth usage reduction.

If you're worried about the size of your initial compressed backup, the Gbackup for Servers application includes a 'local copy' feature that will back up your data to a local disk or media drive. If you hand this drive over to Gbackup, we can upload the backed-up data to our servers for you manually, after which parity backups from your server will continue as normal.
