Video - Downloading and Installing Gbackup on Windows


This video walks you through the steps involved in downloading and installing Gbackup on Windows.

What you'll need:

  • A computer running Microsoft Windows
  • A working Internet connection
  • 100MB of free disk space
  1. Open your web browser and go to 'http://install.gbackup.co.za'.
  2. In the 'Download' section, click on the link to download the 'Backup Manager' (For Servers) or 'Backup Lite' (For Computers) software, depending on your needs.
  3. When a File Save dialog appears, click on the 'Save' button.
  4. Wait for the download to finish, then double-click on the downloaded file to install the Gbackup software.
  5. Follow the on-screen installation process steps, and once installation has completed, Gbackup should launch automatically. If it doesn't, double-click on the Gbackup icon on your Desktop to start it manually.
